Only one week ago we had the seventh Züri walk&talk event as a result of collaboration between @fructifynetwork and @the.fabric.of.clouds dedicated to the #sustainabletravel 🧳

Special thanks go to our knowledgable speakers Nadin Santer from @visitsouthtyrol, Théo Roblot from @betreat_switzerland, Hilary Matson from @yugenearthside, sustainable host with a unique vegan food concept @coffeebar.tessinerplatz, our loyal event photographer, friend and just a nice person to have around @carmen.photo. And last but not least, to our ambassadors @legoseriousplaych @run_lady_gazelle @brightlinesdesign @helenajalanka @tunde.kozma, event designers @monicamoldovancommunities @karinamereuta @natallia.zaremba and compassionate attendees - we-would-have-never-made-it-without-you. 🪴

The sustainable development goals we address now take more than one fearless young generation to accomplish. Nevertheless, the 🧩journey we already mapped together goes from absolute indifference to collective awareness. Is it not the reason to stay optimistic?

That`s why we are thrilled to partner up with @coffeebar.tessinerplatz for our October Züri walk&talk and share with you their sustainable vegan concept, available for the external guests and internal coworkers:

Five days a week, the external guests and coworkers enjoy vegan and locally produced delicacies from the whole world offered by the selected partners direct in front of the Coworking space. @spicy.roots @veganitaspitas @ve.gyoza @ve.cook, @hummusabutschatschi

🧳The travel & Tourism industry has developed very fast in the last decades, taking communities out of poverty, showcasing remote or less known cultures and even becoming an important part of GDP in several countries.

Moreover, travel became a desired lifestyle and created a whole new hobby category for people across the globe.

And what about the Social side? Despite many gains, tourism also creates losses, leading to "modern" slavery or disturbing the real estate market.

So if we add plastic pollution, garbage & waste management, food waste in hotels, we see it creates many environmental challenges.

There is no other industry so prominently two-faced as this one, where both too much or too less of it can create imbalances ⚖️ across the globe. So How can we apply environment and social filters to this otherwise enriching and mind-opening life experience: travelling?

The next Zuri Walk & Talk edition invites you to solve the classical sustainability 🧩puzzle: how can we do what we like while doing what is right? This time with a focus on tourism and travel.
